Reviews and Ratings
I had a great 2 days of mountain biking with our guide Charlie at this hotel. The rooms are beautifully decorated with each having its own unique decor. While not as luxurious as some, they are like your standard American hotel room. The noise from footfall overhead from the rooms upstairs was a bit distracting at times but overall, a comfortable stay.
Staying at the hotel was an absolute delight. The rooms were not only spacious and comfortable but also offered a stunning view towards Upper Loch Torridon, making relaxation effortless. The service provided by the staff was top-notch, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere throughout. The location, surrounded by the breathtaking beauty of the loch and mountains, was truly a gem, although the dining options left a bit to be desired.
The hotel is situated in an amazing location, right by the loch surrounded by the mountains, offering a peaceful night's rest. The rooms are heaven with great views and feature an amazing tub, although some additional storage for clothes would be helpful. The service is top-notch with attentive staff and thoughtful gestures like hot water bottles to keep guests warm. The dining experience is excellent with plenty of choices, though the continental selection is a bit limited. Overall, a fantastic stay with incredible views and outstanding service.
The hotel offers large, comfortable rooms with glorious views but decorated in a slightly strange way. The service ensures a perfect experience with special touches and friendly staff. The stunning location might be a bit remote, but worth the effort. The dining experience is excellent despite occasional slow service. The facilities are top-notch.
I had an amazing time at this hotel. The rooms were beautifully decorated with special features, and the service was warm and attentive. The location was attractive, and the dining experience was tremendous with great attention to detail. The facilities were top-notch, providing a truly memorable stay.
The hotel is nestled in a remote location with stunning views over the loch. The rooms were comfortable but being in the eaves slightly compromised the experience. The service was exceptional, making us feel totally at home. The location offers jaw-dropping scenery but the dining experience was a bit lacking in variety. The facilities were top-notch, with attention to detail throughout.
My stay at this hotel was simply amazing! The room we stayed in was quite spacious and had a lovely sitting area. The view of Upper Loch Torridon was breathtaking, and the standalone bath was perfect for relaxing after a day of hill-walking. The bed was super comfortable, and the shower was fabulous. It was a great value for the money. The service was top-notch, with every staff member being incredibly nice and welcoming. The location is as good as it gets in the Highlands, offering a peaceful atmosphere, although you need to watch out for the midges. The dining experience was fantastic overall, though the continental selection was a bit limited. The facilities were excellent, making our stay even more enjoyable.
I had an incredible stay at the hotel with its stunning location by the loch and surrounded by mountains. The room was luxurious and spacious, offering a relaxing view towards Upper Loch Torridon. The service was impeccable, with the staff being incredibly welcoming and accommodating. Although the dining experience was nice, the slow service was a letdown. The facilities were top-notch, enhancing my overall experience.
The hotel is tucked away in a First Class Hotel, offering stunning views and total tranquillity. The rooms, although large and beautifully decorated, are a little remote. The service, from the rose petals on the bed to the personalized congratulations on our marriage, is simply amazing. The location is a bit out of the way but well worth the effort, cocooned in gorgeous surroundings. Dining in the hotel and attending the knowledgeable whiskey and gin tastings was a delight. Facilities are top-notch, offering a luxurious and serene experience.
I had a fantastic stay at the hotel with spectacular views of the loch and surrounding mountains from my stylish and cosy room, equipped with all the necessary amenities for a wheelchair user. However, the room rates were a bit on the expensive side.
My stay at the hotel was absolutely wonderful! The rooms were welcoming, nice, with deep carpet and excellent bedding. I loved the beautiful bathroom that is in the tower of the building, and the wooden bath in the room was a special touch. The service was top-notch, with professional and courteous staff who made sure everything was perfect. The location was outstanding, nestled in the beautiful hills of west Scotland. The dining experience was pleasant, with just a slight hiccup in the breakfast options. Overall, a great value for the experience.
The hotel rooms are beautifully decorated with stunning views, offering a spacious sitting area you might not want to leave. The service is attentive and friendly, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The location is stunning, surrounded by mountains and part of the North Coast 500 route, making it ideal for scenic driving. The dining experience could be improved with more inclusive options. The facilities are top-notch, providing everything you need for a comfortable stay.
Staying at this hotel was like stepping into a cozy dream. The rooms were very comfortable and beautifully furnished under the eaves, giving a friendly and intimate atmosphere. Special features like the wooden bath, motorized TV, and huge four-poster beds made the stay excellent. The service was attentive and thoughtful with special touches like personalized notes and unique gifts. The location was simply stunning with views of the Loch and Highland Cattle, perfect for lovers of dramatic landscapes. The dining experience was pleasant, though there were minor issues with the breakfast. Overall, a magical experience.
Staying at The Torridon was a dream come true. The rooms were like heaven with great views, and I couldn't resist indulging in the amazing tub whenever possible. The sitting area was lovely, and those double-aspect sash-windows offered fine views. The location was truly spectacular, providing stunning views of the loch and surrounding mountains. The service was top-notch, with special touches like a pot of moisturizer cream and a hot water bottle to keep us cozy. However, the dining experience could have been better, with a not-so-great cooked breakfast. Overall, a magical experience tucked away in the mountains.
The hotel offers comfortable rooms with glorious views over the mountain and loch. The decor is beautiful, but the reduced usable space under the roof may be a downside. The service is exceptional, with friendly and professional staff committed to visitor comfort. The location is truly stunning, part of the North Coast 500 route, a prime spot for scenic driving in the Scottish Highlands. However, the dining experience may have some delays in service.
